    WordPress Origin Story

    Toronto Digits was founded with a clear vision: to empower startups and small businesses through powerful, scalable, and accessible WordPress solutions. But our journey didn’t start in a boardroom—it began within the vibrant WordPress community.

    Back in 2018, our founder started contributing as a WordPress volunteer, driven by a desire to give back to the open-source ecosystem. This early involvement quickly grew into something greater. From WordCamp volunteer to meetup organizer, from translator to WordPress Core contributor, and eventually to WordCamp organizer—our founder’s path was shaped by a deep connection to WordPress and the people behind it.

    That experience laid the foundation for Toronto Digits. Today, we are proud to say that WordPress is our core skill, our passion, and the heart of everything we do.

    We’ve stayed rooted in the community while growing globally—delivering enterprise-level development, MVPs for tech startups, and digital solutions for small and medium businesses.
