Bio

My name is Tony and I am a full-stack developer, passionate technologist and dad.

After training as an IT professional over 20 years ago in Northern Ireland, I worked in an operational management capacity before moving into the world of IT recruitment in 2009 and along that journey rekindled my love for software design & development and created a business, Ava Design in 2017 which has now grown and rebranded into a full-service digital solutions provider, Tecology Consulting Group.

My work with Tecology is very much my primary passion in life after my family. I genuinely love what I do. I have worked with international not-for-profits/charities, various universities and select private sector enterprises developing software and digital solutions, many of these solutions were unique to their respective industries and markets.

I have a broad, holistic knowledge of Information Tecology. Everything from modern, contemporary web development, complex back-end software development across various languages, to IT infrastructure security and compliance. I also manage full end to end cloud IT estates for clients globally. This includes everything from large-scale, enterprise Microsoft 365 tenant accounts, internal IT policy development to bespoke onboarding and staff training solutions.

I am an advocate of diversity and inclusion within the workplace and genuinely want to help and support anyone who is keen to develop within the IT sector. I am also one of the co-founders of a UK based Charity, humans of code. Please feel free to visit, drop me a line and say hi!

I am always interested in speaking with organisations that need some sound, impartial guidance on their IT projects. Please feel free to book a complimentary 30-minute meeting with me for a friendly chat.
