It was a cold, rainy night and I was in an epic battle building an ASP MVC application… Frustrated and 90% through a delicious bottle of Malbec, I decided to pour the final glass and call it a night. Perhaps a little too anxious, I spilled a drop of wine onto my project notebook. That’s when it happened. I noticed that this was no ordinary spill, the wine had left a familiar shape on my notes. I quickly did a Google image search and discovered that the shape was actually a picture-perfect, wine-stained rendering of the WordPress logo. I finished my glass of Malbec that night while reading the ever-captivating WordPress Codex and the next day I woke up (took some Advil) and rebuilt the solution using WordPress. The rest, as they say, is history.
