Bio

Full-stack WordPress developer with 15+ years of hands-on experience, starting with plugin development on Freelancer.com in 2008 and growing into long-term partnerships building and maintaining 100+ WordPress sites. I specialize in custom plugin development, WooCommerce, Elementor, WPML multilingual builds, and troubleshooting complex, high-stakes production issues. WordPress Origin Story

I got into WordPress in 2008, right when I saw just how brilliantly it was putting open source into practice. Then I came across “Code is Poetry,” and something just clicked — that line took my breath away. I remember thinking, I need to be part of a community that thinks about code that way.

WordPress nailed something I still think is genius — it let non-technical people run real, powerful websites with zero code, while giving developers like me the tools to build exactly what they needed underneath. I leaned all the way into that: I picked plugin development as my specialty because it meant real problem-solving, not just pushing pixels. Every plugin request pulled me deeper into WordPress core, the database, hooks and filters, building admin panels non-coders could actually use.

Current Job

Freelancer Full Stack Web Developer
Jan 2009 – Present
Freelancer · Freelance
Independent freelance developer on Freelancer.com from 2008, specializing in WordPress plugin development. Chose plugin work deliberately over front-end design because it demanded deeper problem-solving — pulling me into WordPress core, database work, and custom admin panels on every project. Delivered 20+ successful projects with a 100% client satisfaction rating, ranging from simple CSS fixes to fully custom plugins built from scratch with third-party API integrations (Google Images, Facebook, Twitter, PayPal). Earned WordPress and PHP certifications through the platform, and built the long-term client relationships during this period — including Serouj and Mina — that would go on to become ongoing partnerships for over a decade.
