Colorado Native that loves the outdoors, reading, fishing, hunting and all the usual family gatherings. Programming has been my passion for over 30 years. Having written three content management systems with all the changes in the IT world WordPress seemed the most pragmatic solution to move from trying to keep up with all these changes and being able to develop software that clicks my ratchet.

WordPress Origin Story

In 2006 I did a significant amount of research on CMS systems both to be more informed in developing one as well as to get a perspective of UI experience. There was no doubt to me back then that WordPress was the lead horse in the race against the likes of Joomla, Concrete5, Drupal and the pay ones like weebly and wix. What pushed me over the edge to be a full fledged promoter of WordPress was the framework their team put together that started accommodating features that made SEO manageable, mobile friendly and ease of training others on how to use the WordPress CMS allowing me to empower my clients to manage their own website and minimizing my need to support their website giving me more time to do my favorite thing (writing code and developing useful software).
