From Humble Beginnings to WordPress Champions: 24 Tech Time’s Journey
2018: A spark ignited in Masaka, Uganda. 24 Tech Time, a fledgling IT company, began its journey with a vision – to empower businesses and organizations through technology. We tackled websites in 2020, crafting online havens for clients. But something felt incomplete.

2021: Enter WordPress. This open-source platform, with its user-friendliness and flexibility, resonated deeply with us. We dove headfirst, learning its nuances and harnessing its potential. Soon, all our websites were WordPress-powered, built with one core belief: empowering our clients.

Building, Contributing, Inspiring: Websites weren’t just pixels on a screen; they were bridges to success. We built e-commerce platforms, informational hubs, and creative playgrounds, each tailored to our client’s unique needs. But our journey wasn’t just about building. We wanted to contribute to the WordPress ecosystem that had given us so much.

WordCamps – the vibrant gatherings of the WordPress community – became our second home. From Entebbe to Kampala, Jinja to Masaka, we sent representatives to learn, share, and connect. Eng. Johnious Tumusiime (https://www.johnious.com), our Managing Director, became a WordCamp stalwart, actively contributing to WordCamp Jinja and Masaka. His passion for WordPress and its potential for good was contagious.

Spreading the Knowledge: But our mission extended beyond conferences. We saw the potential in schools and universities, in the next generation of tech-savvy minds. We trained, we mentored, and we inspired. We showed them the power of WordPress, how it could be their canvas for creativity, their platform for change.

Empowering Our Clients: And of course, our clients remained at the heart of everything we did. We didn’t just build websites; we trained them to manage them, to update them, to make them their own. We handed them the keys, trusting their ability to shape their online presence.

Today and Beyond: 24 Tech Time’s story is far from over. We continue to build, to contribute, to inspire. Every website, every training session, every connection at a WordCamp fuels our passion. We are not just an IT company; we are WordPress champions, committed to using technology for good, one pixel at a time.
