WordPress Origin Story

Took on a web project in 2008 to help a family member. This’ll be easy, I said. Trying to teach myself, Dreamweaver was driving me bonkers!!! What the hell is a Cascading Style Sheet…a SpryAsset, oh man. Well, this is how you make a website. I had heard of WordPress, but it was largely regarded as a blogging tool at the time. But it turned out, you could coax it into behaving like a web site. So, I took a chance on it in 2010, rebuilding the site in WordPress and after a decade of learning and practicing, here I am.
