    WordPress Origin Story

    I started playing with websites in the late 90’s. Yes this dates me lol. Back in the day it was FrontPage, and a website hosted by my ISP. In -07 I happened onto wordpress.com, but found that I wanted more control, so moved onto Bluehost with my very first wordpress.org site.

    Despite having been around, and having a keen interest in coding, my day job left little time and energy to dive in and really learn, so there were many mishaps and just as many crashes.

    I’m thankful to the creators of WordPress and the many kind souls on WordPress.org which have donated of their time and energy, writing nice tutorials to bail little me out, as well as to educate about features and plugins.

    I’m still just a little small-time website owner, now graduated to a VPS, I’m not very good at developing (or blogging) but I enjoy it immensely. I have stared learning PHP, and while I’m very much a noob, I also enjoy that.
