    WordPress Origin Story

    My journey with WordPress started when I wanted to help someone launch a course-selling website. I explored different tools but found WordPress to be the most flexible and beginner-friendly platform.

    At first, I worked mainly with themes and plugins to build full sites without writing much code. But as I learned PHP, MySQL, and OOP concepts, I became curious about how WordPress worked under the hood.

    That’s when I started developing custom plugins — my first one was a Course Progress Tracker, which I built from scratch and pushed to GitHub. From there, I got interested in contributing to open-source, and I recently made my first Pull Request to the Gutenberg project by fixing a label to match WordPress’s UX standards.

    WordPress has helped me grow from a no-code beginner to someone who can write clean, meaningful code. Now, I want to keep learning and give back to the ecosystem that helped me start.
