Bio

I am a professional lens dodger that absolutely loves taking photos and capturing moments – whether I’m at a gig, a festival, or out exploring nature with my camera in hand.

I’ve been living in the beautiful Scottish Highlands since 2017, but I’ve also called Ireland, England, the USA, France, and Belgium home over the years. I’m passionate about travel, creativity, and community.

I’m an elected local Community Councillor, a qualified Mental Health First Aider, and a proud advocate for a number of grassroots organisations. Always happy to connect and contribute — especially when there’s a good story (or photo!) to share.

WordPress Origin Story

I’ve been a big fan of WordPress since 2006 — it was almost love at first blog once I got to grips with it! I started building websites for others in 2009, and what began as a side project has grown into a company that now designs, builds, hosts, and maintains WordPress sites for clients across all sorts of sectors.

Thanks to my passion for photography, I’m also proud to be part of the WordPress Photos Team — a fun and creative way to be part of the 5% of users who actively contribute to the project. It’s a great feeling to give back to a community that’s given me so much over the years.
