WordPress Origin Story

I discovered WordPress by accident while helping a friend set up a website for her handmade jewelry business. We had zero budget and even less technical knowledge, so I dove headfirst into tutorials, late-night forums, and trial-and-error edits. What started as a favor quickly became a fascination—I was hooked by how empowering it felt to build something from scratch. From that first site, I began taking on small projects, learning the ins and outs of themes, plugins, and customization.
