    Over the last 10 years as a business owner and technical manager, Shane has run design, R&D and mobile projects for some of the world’s largest brands. He has spoken at SXSW, GigaOm’s Future of Work, Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, eBay and numerous barcamps & smaller events. He is a contributor on the topic of remote work & freelancing to Mashable, GigaOm, Elance, FreelanceSwitch & Copyblogger. Shane is heavily involved in Gov 2.0, shaping how local government uses technology, resulting in both a Gov 2.0 Award and a mayoral commendation. He is an active participant in both the WordPress and RoR Redmine / Chili open source projects.
