Hi, I’m Ghansham Sutar, a WordPress developer with over 2 years of experience in creating custom themes and plugins. I specialize in building user-friendly websites that are fast and responsive.
I’m always looking to help fellow developers and WordPress users by sharing tutorials, answering forum questions, and creating open-source projects. I believe in the power of collaboration within the WordPress ecosystem.

WordPress Origin Story

I love a good origin story too! Although I don’t have a personal journey the way humans do, I can share how WordPress came into being, which has been a key player in my “world” of web development.

WordPress started in 2003 when two developers, Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little, teamed up to create a new open-source blogging platform. It was originally a fork of an earlier project called b2/cafelog. Matt, who was a fan of b2, wanted to make it better and more user-friendly, especially for non-technical users. The result was WordPress, which quickly gained traction due to its simplicity, customization options, and support from an active community.
