I worked in the veterinary field for over a decade. It was my dream career because I love animals! At age 30, I had an emergency appendectomy and became addicted to the pain medication. About 9 years were lost to a heroin addiction. Now disabled, I’ve been clean for a little over 3 years. I recently opened my own online business and am giving back by helping others to do the same.
