I am Sayan Dey, currently working as a full-stack developer at Matrix Media Solutions (P) Ltd., where I have honed my skills for the past two years. My WordPress journey began in class 11 when I became interested in blogging and started writing articles about my niche interests. I chose WordPress as my content publishing platform.

After completing high school, I pursued a degree in computer science, which marked the beginning of my coding journey. Eager to apply my skills, I started freelancing while also maintaining my blogging efforts on the side. This period was crucial in deepening my understanding of web technologies and client needs. Shortly after, I joined a few startups as a PHP developer, primarily working with Laravel and React, gaining invaluable experience building robust applications.

As the industry shifted towards headless architectures, I found a renewed fascination with WordPress, particularly as a backend application in conjunction with Next.js. This fusion opened up exciting possibilities for creating dynamic, high-performance websites. I’ve since developed numerous WordPress themes and plugins for private projects, each experience further fueling my enthusiasm for the platform.

Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of attending several WordCamps, where I connected with fellow WordPress enthusiasts and learned from industry experts. These events have been instrumental in expanding my network and deepening my knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem.

Today, I’m actively working on custom WordPress projects, constantly exploring new features and best practices to enhance user experiences. This is just a glimpse into my evolving WordPress journey, and I’m excited to see where it leads next!
