WordPress Origin Story

**How I Became Involved with WordPress**

I first became involved with WordPress in 2012, while I was a computer engineering student at the University of Tehran. At that time, I was interested in learning web development and was looking for a free and open-source content management system (CMS) that I could use to build websites. WordPress was one of the top options available, and I was quickly drawn to it.

I began learning more about WordPress and soon started developing WordPress plugins and themes. I also began writing about WordPress on my blog. In 2015, I was hired as a WordPress developer at a web company.

In 2017, I was hired as a software engineer on the WordPress team at Google. This was an amazing opportunity for me to be able to contribute to the development of WordPress and serve the WordPress community.

Since first becoming involved with WordPress, I have been continuously learning and growing in the WordPress space. I believe that WordPress is a powerful and flexible tool that can be used to create all sorts of websites. I am excited to see how WordPress will continue to evolve in the future.

Here are a few specific stories from my experiences with WordPress:

* The first WordPress plugin I developed was a simple plugin that allowed users to create a contact page on their website. This plugin was a valuable learning experience for me and helped me learn how to develop WordPress plugins.
* One of the first WordPress themes I developed was a simple theme that was designed for a local business. This theme was a valuable learning experience for me and helped me learn how to develop WordPress themes.
* One of the articles I wrote about WordPress was about how to create a news website with WordPress. This article was a valuable writing experience for me and helped me share my knowledge about WordPress with others.

I am very grateful for my experiences with WordPress. WordPress has helped me improve my skills in web development and website development. It has also helped me serve the WordPress community and help others learn about WordPress.
