進度條線上課程與 WordPress 之間的業務是如何發生或協作？ WordPress 是接案者目前最容易碰到的議題之一，我們第一次接觸WordPress就是因為接案業主指定。雖然當時對PHP也只是略懂，不過因為對Ruby on Rails還有前端JavaScript等已經相當熟悉。確定WordPress可以做到以AJAX的方式做開發就承接了該案子，最後也順利完成。 在接觸WordPress的時候發現WordPress中文的社群雖然非常廣大，但是很少關於WordPress 程式開發的資訊，大多數以行銷為主的功能使用說明，而非技術文章，甚至連官方的API都很少人討論。 所以我們就開了一個以WordPress 主題樣式(Theme)與外掛(Plugin)為主軸的線上課程https://progressbar.tw/courses/10， 並且嘗試把WordPress作為後端框架來連接，與當下新穎的技術做結合，例如iPhone手機程式與前端最流行的React架構。不過因為每個學生的程度與需求都不相同，因此課程還是有包含WordPress基礎使用與網站伺服器架設與設定。 面對經營線上課程是否有遇過什麼難題或是趣事呢？ 難題就是課程想說的太多說不完，尤其是課程也是需要維護的，尤其是碰到第三方資源，會有改版的問題。好在一般成熟的服務資源，為了維護使用者體驗，不太會大改介面強迫使用者改變習慣，所以大概每季會有一些東西要調整與影片重錄，為了避免找自己麻煩。以WordPress課程為例，只能講少數我們覺得一定會需要的外掛。 不過也有例外，像WordPress課程主軸的用官方API來製作樣式與外掛就算是不怎麼需要維護的內容。因為如果官方API大改，所有的樣式與外掛都會嚴重被影響。因此新版本中API多半不會消失，也不會改使用方式，官方真有需要通常都是產生新的API達成目的。所以就學習上來講其實投資報酬率很高，不用追版本可以省下很多時間成本。… -
