    Nishat Shahriyar, a.k.a. “Nish,” is a writer by passion and a digital marketer by choice. He has a vast interest in tech, the creator economy, and the WordPress community.     WordPress Origin Story

    I first started using WordPress in 2007. I can remember joining WP and installing my first WordPress website on a free host! From then on, I used WordPress to build my passion sites, personal websites, affiliate websites, client sites, and now product websites.

    I became involved with the WordPress community very recently. When I joined AuthLab in 2021, my interest in WordPress Meetup & WordCamp increased. I have attended 2 WordCamp Sylhet & WordCamp Malaysia events so far and hope to attend WordCamp Asia and other regional WordCamps in the coming years.

    I am also taking steps to contribute more to the Make WordPress team, and with my WordPress-focused newsletter, Weekly WP More.
