WordPress’ biggest strength is its plugins, but they’re also its biggest weakness. WP sites are slow, bloated, and buggy. It’s 2025, and there’s no reason we should have average web pages loading at 40-60 performance scores in 4-6 seconds. There’s no reason to install a 10MB plugin just for SEO or SMTP, filled with stuff you don’t need, heavy assets, tons of ads, and that still runs on PHP 5 because the agency is busy maintaining legacy code
