Bio

I am the Co-founder and CEO at Codewing, the creative powerhouse behind renowned brands like Rara Themes, Blossom Themes, and WP Travel Engine.

Back in 2012, during my second year in college, I built my first website using WordPress and was immediately drawn to its user-friendly interface. Since then, I have been a strong advocate for WordPress.

I have been actively involved in WordCamp in Nepal since 2012, serving in various capacities such as a volunteer, speaker, sponsor, and organizer.

My passion is deeply rooted in crafting and marketing WordPress products. However, there’s more to me than just my professional pursuits. I am also a salsa dancer, a public speaker, a hiker, and a meditation practitioner.

WordPress Origin Story

Back in 2012, during my second year in college, I wanted to make a website. I only knew a bit about HTML and CSS, and I didn’t know any backend programming. That’s when a friend told me about WordPress. I tried it and found it so easy to use, with lots of helpful tutorials online. I quickly fell in love with WordPress, and the first site I made was with it!

I started a blog and interviewed a WordPress Theme developer for my first post. Meeting him led me to learn about WordPress meetings happening in Nepal, and I started attending them. When the first WordCamp was held in Nepal in 2012, I was there as a volunteer.

I loved how WordPress made everything simple and how there was a plugin for almost everything. So, when I started my own business in 2013, I decided to focus only on WordPress.

I’ve been all about WordPress ever since, and it’s had a huge positive impact on my life.
