Bio

I am a Norwegian male, born in 1949, living in Oslo. Now retired after more than 40 years as IT professional. My first program was written in 1969, the programming language was Auto Coder.
I now spend some time to play with WordPress; developing of shortcodes to add functionality to WordPress driven sites. I do this together with two old colleagues. For the time being, we are developing an application to support choirs operations. We do make our own set of helper classes to unify and ease our Application Development. And we do not have to make a living out of this, we just have fun.

If you take a look at our website, you are not likely to benefit, it is all written in Norwegian.

WordPress Origin Story

I came across WP when my employer moved intranet from EZ to WordPress. Some years ago I did pick up PHP programming. Coming from a background with Simula, C, C++, C#, PERL and Java I find it amusing making applications within the WordPress environment.
