Bio

I am a lot of things, but first I am Christian who happens to be a mother to three kids and married to my man for twenty years. I am a teacher by profession and have been writing since I can remember. I love writing fiction, nonfiction, spiritual works in addition to poetry. I love reading and cooking because those things relax me, however my favorite past time is just simply being with my family. I’ve been sitting on this idea of creating my own blog for a few years now, being scared away by stories of those who have found the start of it daunting and disappointing. I allowed myself to be swayed by the experiences of others, and here I am trying to launch something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I won’t be perfect, and may not even have a clue for what I’m getting myself into, but I am all in, and ready to be who God made me to be!

WordPress Origin Story

My origin story isn’t spectacular really. When I decided to go through with this journey, I came across another Christian blogger whose web page was absolutely beautiful, and she admitted that state of her blog was through trial and error. She talked about content and being clear on what audience we were trying to captivate. She mentioned a few sites she used to create her blog and they were basic as they could get. Although her blog is quite successful now, she highly recommended WordPress as this was one she stuck to for many years, and I can only hope to be where she is with due diligence. There are many female Christian bloggers that I’ve befriended that predominantly use WordPress, and I too want to set myself up for success by using the best that there is out there. This comes highly recommended by other fellow bloggers so i really couldn’t see myself using any other.
