    Bio

    I’m an I.T. systems engineer during the day, at night I work on WordPress projects, and on the weekends I’m a wedding photographer. I love working with WordPress and creating plugins and custom themes. Using WordPress as my platform to showcase my photos and my client photos has been a lot of fun. It’s only getting better as everything evolve!

    WordPress Origin Story

    My WordPress story began in 2009 when I started my own photoblog. I couldn’t find anything out there that really spoke to the design and features I had in my head. Disappointed with the lack of options, and having learned PHP early in the 2000’s, I set out to learn the WordPress way of doing things. I quickly created my own (private) custom themes and (private) plugins to satisfy my needs, and the needs of friends. After years of constant tinkering and learning, I figured it’s time to release some of this stuff to the public!

    I love sitting down and creating something. Whether it’s a quick tweak to a website, or a full blown plugin that allows expanded functionality. It’s a great feeling seeing it all come together – and of course when it all works!
