Strategies for Starting School – Preparation At First Day Or Write Your First Essay?
few times this month, Fiona Brill and her five year old son went to the nearby Primary School. There they play on the monkey bars, eat a picnic lunch and tried all the drinking taps to discover what works – and what they spray water everywhere. Fiona points out of the classroom Nicky will be in this year and the bank will put them on when it’s time for him to come out. In a few weeks, Nicky will go to school for the first time. Fiona has been working to make the transition as easy to make as happy as possible.
It is not necessary, tears and trauma at the school gate at the beginning of the year. Given the preparation and a positive attitude towards the school, the first day – and all the other days too – can be a time to see and enjoy
the weeks before *. Many schools arrange orientation days where kids show around, and perhaps a story read to them by a “real” teacher. This is a wonderful introduction.
* Talk about school often, in informal conversation. (“Yes, you can read” cat “You learn a lot of words to read at school ..) Be positive and enthusiastic in your attitude, but on the other hand, makes it not too much school can ‘t live up to the reputation of the Circus Maximus.

the first day
* Help your child to be ready in a calm and peaceful manner. Even if you get up earlier to avoid Panics and at the last minute rush.
* Arrange to meet with one of your children’s friends and their parents. That way you can all walk together and support each other.
* Do not forget to allow extra time for a picture or two. This is something that really treasure later.
* Understand that there is little time for the teacher to be to talk to you. This can happen later on other days. Teachers should focus only on the children during the first few chaotic days
* In the classroom!, Can your child involved in an activity (like the children), but not too long to stay .
* you can always your child you are leaving, but keep it casual – five steps farewell is a terrible pressure on both parents and children. When you leave, do it fast and powerful – even tears started. Teachers are experts in comforting and distracting children – but they can only do so when parents (always the child’s first choice!) Is not there any more
* Keep reminding yourself. (Often) that most children who cry at the first day when parents are happy to leave involved in drawing elephants and make friends before the parent even in the house
* Be there waiting when the school ends .. Even two minutes too late to feel like two hours after a Prep child.
the first few weeks
* It may be a deterioration in behavior in those early days, due to fatigue. Answering back, rude, fighting and even bed-cover are all signs of stress. You do not have to accept it, but you do not have to go hunting back to the child rearing manuals just yet. Cuddles, kindness and quiet times, the problem must look forward.
* Have a small snack and some quiet activity ready for when you both at home. Gently relax, chat about the day, even a few favorite videos to watch, until energy levels return. Do not ask five friends over to play – no matter how much they beg you!
* Do not talk much about what you did during the day, especially if it’s exciting. Implies it is business as usual at home or at work. Children hate to not miss out

not really intend to do something special for you -. Especially on the first day alone. Even if you have two toddlers and a baby still under your feet, a child go to school for the first time leaving a big void in your life. Fill it with something special. This is a new beginning for all of you.
