Hello, I’m Joe Njenga, a skilled freelance WordPress developer and full-stack web developer with over a decade of industry experience.

WordPress Origin Story

Year ~ 2010
After completing my education at the University of Nairobi (2004-2010), I ventured into freelance SEO content writing on platforms like Odesk (now Upwork) and Elance.

It was during this time that I discovered WordPress and its potential as a blogging platform. Intrigued, I delved into web development, learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java through Lyndah.com (now LinkedIn Learning).

Year ~ 2012

To expand my clientele base, I launched my freelancing blog, njengah.com, offering services directly to clients.

As I delved deeper into WordPress, I turned to reputable sources like Smashing Magazine, WPMU blog, WP Tuts, and Net Tuts (now ThemeForest) for tutorials and insights.

Throughout my journey, I continuously challenged myself, working on diverse projects and mastering the art of creating and customizing themes, plugins, and customizing WordPress sites.

With a decade of experience, I have established myself as a skilled WordPress developer, dedicated to crafting elegant solutions for clients’ digital needs.

I am committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in the field and actively contributing to the WordPress community.
