Bio

Im an advertising and fashion designer, educator, and creative entrepreneur from Costa Rica, with a holistic vision that connects creativity, personal identity, and well-being.

As the founder of a fashion design school, I support women especially entrepreneurs in building their own brands through a constructivist, empathetic, and conscious approach, where learning goes beyond technical skills and becomes a process of self-discovery and empowerment.

Through my work with WordPress, I help beginners and non-technical users navigate the platform with greater clarity, confidence, and less overwhelm, encouraging them to see technology as an accessible tool to express their ideas, build their projects, and develop their digital presence.

I also deliver talks and workshops on stress management and micro-breaks for people who work on computers, integrating well-being practices to promote healthier and more sustainable work habits.

My approach combines design, education, and holistic practices such as meditation, sound therapy, and emotional awareness, creating spaces where people can learn, connect, and develop their ideas in a conscious and sustainable way. I am passionate about building bridges between communities, supporting more women in technology, and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow, collaborate, and expand their projects within the WordPress ecosystem.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress began when I participated in the WordPress Speaker Workshop: Women Voices in Latin America 2024. This experience had a deep impact on me, as it gave me a voice and the confidence to see myself as part of the community, especially as a woman.

From that moment on, in 2024, I started attending WordCamps first as an attendee, and later as a speaker where I began sharing my experience, my learning process, and my human-centered approach to digital entrepreneurship.

Over time, my connection with WordPress continued to grow. What started with curiosity and a bit of uncertainty evolved into a strong sense of belonging and contribution.

Today, in 2026, my role within the WordPress community has expanded even further. I actively contribute as an organizer and community participant, reinforcing my commitment to education, inclusion, and creating more empathetic and accessible spaces for everyone.

WordPress has not only been a tool for my professional growth, but also a space where I have been able to build confidence, connect with others, and contribute from my own perspective. I am also excited to continue growing within the ecosystem and to participate in global WordPress initiatives, collaborating with diverse communities and contributing to projects beyond my local environment.
