Bio

I am currently the Director of Digital Strategy at Santa Clara University, but I am involved in a number of volunteer and open source projects providing UX and UI expertise. I’m a huge proponent of user-centric design, and love exploring cognitive psychology and human-computer interaction.

WordPress Origin Story

Once upon a time, very long ago, I had a blog where I’d review house music tracks. I built the first version in 2001 by hand with no coding knowledge. As time went on, I couldn’t maintain it anymore, so I discovered WordPress a few years later and have been using it ever since!
