WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress started over 8 years ago out of pure curiosity and a desire to build things for the web. I initially started by tinkering with simple HTML, CSS, and basic PHP to build custom pages for local client projects.

As I spent more time under the hood, I became fascinated by how flexible the WordPress core architecture was. I quickly moved beyond existing themes and page builders to writing custom themes from scratch, diving deep into WordPress hooks, actions, and custom database structures.

Over the years, my focus evolved from simple front-end builds to enterprise-level engineering—architecting custom PHP plugins, optimizing high-traffic WooCommerce databases, and building modern React-based Gutenberg blocks. What started as exploring a simple CMS has turned into an 8+ year career of solving complex technical problems on the web, and I still love every bit of it.
