    Building for the web since 2006, with WordPress as my main focus since version 2.8. For the last ten years I’ve been at Infinum, where I founded the WordPress team, led it for five years, and shaped its stack, tooling, and ways of working.

    I’m the main author of Eightshift, an open-source development kit built around React and the Block Editor, and Eightshift Forms. I’ve spoken at 15+ conferences on WordPress and JavaScript, and I organize WordPress meetups in Zagreb.

    When I’m not writing code, I’m in my woodshop running MakeWhateverWay, a woodworking and laser-engraving brand.

    WordPress Origin Story

    It all started around WordPress 2.8, back in 2009. I was a design student building sites for anyone who’d ask, and WordPress was the tool that let me ship real projects without a team behind me. What began as “just a CMS for client work” slowly took over — first large editorial sites, then a whole career.

    In 2016 I joined Infinum, where I later founded and led the WordPress team. Along the way I became the main author of Eightshift, an open-source development kit for the Block Editor, because I wanted WordPress development to feel as modern as the JavaScript world I was living in. Fifteen-plus conference talks and years of Zagreb meetups later, I’m still here — and WordPress is still the tool I reach for.

    Key Accomplishments

    Speaker at 15+ conferences on WordPress and JavaScript; organizer and host of WordPress meetups in Zagreb.
    Built an MVC-style architecture for the React-based Block Editor from scratch, with documentation and code examples used by an entire engineering team.
    Created Eightshift SSO — a plugin providing Single Sign-on authentication through Azure AD for enterprise WordPress deployments.
    Created Eightshift Forms — an advanced forms plugin with 15+ external REST API integrations and a Git-like diff system for comparing local and external data.
    Main author of Eightshift, an open-source WordPress development kit built around React and the Block Editor — designed and wrote the large majority of the codebase, used on every WordPress project at Infinum since 2017.
