    Hi, I’m Muhammad Faizan Haidar, but you can call me Faizan. I’m a native Urdu speaker, fluent in English currently based in Portugal.

    As a Lead WordPress Developer at Avenue Code, I specialize in custom theme and plugin development, as well as building solutions from scratch. Beyond my professional role, I’m passionate about creating free and premium WordPress plugins. One of my most popular products is an extension for LifterLms which is Attendance Management For LifterLMS

    I’ve been working with WordPress since 2017, continuously refining my skills in custom development, performance optimization, and scalable WordPress solutions.

    When I’m not coding, you’ll find me enjoying cricket matches or watching movies.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started my WordPress journey back in 2016, experimenting with small projects and custom plugins while learning PHP and MySQL. What began as curiosity soon grew into a passion for building with WordPress and contributing to the community.

    In 2018, I attended WordCamp Islamabad, which became a turning point for me. Meeting contributors, developers, and community members there inspired me to get more involved. That’s when my journey as an official WordPress contributor really took shape.

    Since then, I’ve been actively developing plugins, optimizing sites, and giving back to the ecosystem that has given me so much. WordPress isn’t just a tool for me—it’s a community and a career path that I’m proud to be part of.
