This is MD Hossain Shohel, a full-stack Web Application Developer.

Currently living in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I’ve completed Masters of Business Administration in HRM from Bangladesh University. Programming is my passion and I am self-taught programmer, developed many complex web applications and popular WordPress Plugins including E-Commerce, Crowdfunding, Learning Management System, etc. In my free time, I learn new technology, looking at my old code and try to re-write in a more efficient way.

I have been studying web application development since 2011, As a LAMP expert I developed in PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Codeigniter, WordPress, jQuery, AJAX, and I am proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, to name a few. I am also proficient in many things related to web development, including but not limited to Rest API, GIT, Ubuntu, Unix based private servers, Apache, Nginx, Composer, Third-party APIs, and services. Familiar with JavaScript, ReactJS, VueJS

Finding the bug, designing application architecture and database, learning new things, traveling, listening to music, using the new gadgets.

WordPress Origin Story

Started back in 2011, I heard about WordPress and suggest to my employer that we can provide website using WordPress in less time. Created many themes and plugins for the employer. In 2015, I stopped using WordPress as my new employer doesn’t need it, basically that time I worked on the Laravel framework to create application backend and APIs for the Mobile APP.

In April 2016, I joined at Themeum and resume using WordPress, at this time, I backed with more stronger skills and powerful architecture design abilities, developed successful plugins like WP Crowdfunding, WP Mega Menu, WP Page Builder (backend and few frontend side), WP Support Desk (less popular) and most recent Tutor LMS.

During plugin development, I focus on code quality, readability, and extendibility as WordPress born to extend. Of course efficient algorithm and database query optimization is my first priority, I’m ready to write more 1K lines of code and manage another custom table to make a little bit more efficient
