WordPress Origin Story

I was going to school for graphic design, and discovered none of my classmates wanted to learn web design, but all of the companies in my area needed web designers. So, I locked myself in my room for a summer and learned to code. At the end of the summer I discovered the power of a CMS. I chose to build things with Joomla at first, but eventually WordPress became my primary tool of choice. Now I strive to build websites and tools that are beautiful, useful, and accessible.
