Bio

After an IT career in large corporations, I founded Business Vitality LLC in 1999. Since then I’ve helped dozens of small businesses get better leads and more customers through web site services and Internet marketing. I’ve also helped my clients keep those new customers and make more profit by improving how their companies operate. When I’m not in front of a computer, I’m an avid reader, quilter, and knitter.

WordPress Origin Story

I’ve created web sites since 1999 when they were just HTML and a little JavaScript thrown in. I approach new web technologies with caution as they usually require a serious investment of time and energy to learn. I have my own business and have to consider how tools will support both me and my clients. CSS offered much promise and I added that to my toolkit. By 2013 it was clear that WordPress is here to stay and has the stability and flexibility I need to create the next generation of web sites. What has surprise me most is the fantastic user community surround WP. I wouldn’t have come as far as I have without them.
