WordPress Origin Story

Long story here. In 2009, I started with WordPress as I wanted an eCommerce site for my business. At the time, I had someone develop it for me and it was the most clunky and difficult website to manage. The dashboard was not user friendly or intuitive at all.
Fast forward to 2015, I decided to sign up for a WordPress Developer course with the good folks at Skillcrush. By then I had launched my eCommerce store using Shopify and I was happy with it. But not knowing how to use WordPress was a bugbear.
The Skillcrush team have been wonderfully patient and I am reaching the tail end of the course now.
I am so happy that after years of procrastinating, I can finally say I have my own blog. =)
