    Bio

    I’m Lucy, a WordPress developer and educator with over 15 years of experience helping entrepreneurs and small business owners build beautiful, strategic websites with confidence. Through my business, Lucy Lynne Creative, I offer done-for-you development, mentorship, and an online course that makes the website-building process approachable and empowering.

    When I’m not creating with WordPress, I’m usually pursuing one of my many creative outlets, practicing yoga, or walking along the beach near my home on the “Edge of America” with my furry best friend, Oakley. I’m a proud mom to three grown kids living vibrant lives of their own and Gigi to two granddaughters.

    Interests

    Yoga, cycling, swimming, health & wellness, being a dog mom and LOTS of creative interest.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I got my beginnings in WordPress in the summer 2010 when I was hired by a family owned advertising agency to help establish their web development department. I had just completed my certification at a local community college and was given the opportunity to determine what platform that the agency would use to build all their client websites. It didn’t take long to realize the natural and most obvious choice was WordPress and from there I went on to become a freelance developer to build sites for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

    Fast forward to 2025, with over 15 years of WordPress experience I have become an WordPress educator by offering an online course to help women entrepreneurs establish their own WordPress website without the tech overwhelm.
