    Student in software engineering. Linux, Java & JavaScript enthusiast. Currently learning C. Furthermore, I like reading and writing prose and poetry.

    WordPress Origin Story

    In 2016 I became webmaster over the website of a student society I was member of, which, at the time, was using SilverStripe 2.4. Nobody, really, could use this outdated CMS properly and soon I began exploring user-friendly alternatives which, preferably, where easy to maintain, also for people that weren’t as technical as me. As such, I ended up with WordPress. Late 2016, I migrated the website to WordPress and I still maintain the website with pleasure.
