Bio

I’m an Italian-Australian living in Melbourne, Australia, with my wife and kids.

I originally studied Architecture but fell in love with ‘digital’ instead. This was before Facebook and WordPress existed and when we had to dial into the internet.

I’ve spent half my career building and managing websites and the other half Marketing them.

Interests

I own and run WP BizDev, a blog about growing WordPress businesses.

WordPress Origin Story

I did my best to avoid WordPress by embracing an alternative called Textpattern but capitulated in 2010 when I worked on a WordPress build for an Australian FMCG brand (and loved it).

In 2017 I joined a local web hosting company taking care of Marketing for their WordPress hosting brand. I loved the tech side of it all but the community even more. I was lucky enough to attend two WordCamps as a sponsor. Since then, I have worked for another WordPress hosting company, have freelanced (helping smaller WordPress product businesses) and are now working at WPBakery.

I help / contribute when I can:

– Contributor at WordCamp Asia 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026
– Volunteer at WordCamp Sydney 2024
– Melbourne WordPress Meetup organizer
– Hosted the Excerpt Talks, interviewing WordPress businesses about connecting, collaborating & creating
