Bio

Loomisoft is a small UK-based web development team offering decades of technical experience in web design and web application development.

With a solid background in PHP/MySQL for back-end and HTML/JavaScript/JQuery for front-end functionality, in recent years we have been applying our expertise in delivering more and more websites around WordPress because of the power and flexibility it offers.

In doing so, we have often found ourselves having to extend the core WordPress functionality with our plugins because we had very specific functional requirements that were often not available in other plugins.

Now, we aim to bring you a number our plugins and hope that our products prove useful and valuable to you in delivering the functionality you are looking for and help you achieve what you intend on your website(s).

WordPress Origin Story

Getting involved with WordPress was a natural step for us. “Back in the day”, everything our small but experienced team did was fully bespoke for every client … built virtually from the ground up. From scratch. For all the flexibility in design and technical functionality fully bespoke development offered, it was also a problem … every project was time and cost intensive, as were maintenance, updates and change – time and cost that we invariably either had to push on to the client or take a partial hit on.

Then we looked at WordPress, which for us offered a powerful, flexible and constantly evolving platform that, along with the many available plugins, would give us the basis to deliver great looking and contemporary websites almost off the shelf … and this was all bundled in an open source and customisable package.

But, forever the developers who delivered exactly what the client needed, we started to provide the bespoke elements that were needed by building in-house plugins into our projects except now we didn’t have to reinvent every aspect of the wheel every time, just the sections that we needed to.

We have been using and developing custom plugins for WordPress now since 2011 … time we got involved and offered some useful and valuable plugins for others to use. We hope our work provides you with the little bits that you need to build your websites.
