    Bio

    Graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Digital Media: Internet & Interactive Systems and then a Masters in Interactive Entertainment: Video Game Production. I love video games, but hate the industry, so I ended up putting my natural writing talents to good use and worked as a web content writer and social media manager for 7 years. These days, I’m completely out of the industry as a Personal Injury Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance, but I still love and support the WordPress community!

    When I’m not on a computer, I’m in the kitchen cooking all sorts of wonderful things. I live in a tiny Central Florida town with my Dad and 10 cats, so to escape I wander down to Orlando on a regular basis to hang with my friends, play video games, and participate in the WordPress Orlando and tech community as a meetup and WordCamp organizer.

    WordPress Origin Story

    My “little brother” David introduced me to WordPress when he started becoming a developer. I set up a rudementary cooking blog that I never updated, but in doing so, I started learning tricks and development details.
