Bio

I’m the Vice President of the Mildmay club and Institute which is based in North London and established in 1888. Our club offers Music, Dance, Comedy, Darts, snooker and fantastic locally brewed beers.

WordPress Origin Story

I was aware from my work (Maths and IT teaching) of it but when our (Not for profit) club needed a site. I battled to have us use WordPress as it is so well supported, rather than a custom built site that could have been problematic further down the road. I’m pleased we have been able to learn to maintain the site and with such a rich catalogue of plugins offered able to extend it’s capabilities as our members needs require.
