WordPress Origin Story

I started 1999 hand coding HTML table based layouts with notepad and then moved to Dreamweaver and CSS (thanks to csszengarden.com) and used some old school PS (cracked) html exporting (bad and bloated, I know) as well. Generally creating websites for myself and a few clients…eventually needed a platform to help manage development and I found WordPress after some research. Decided to go with WP around 05′ because its theme template structure matched how I was setting up my sites but also being OSS helps as well.
