Helping Children In Russia, Ukraine, and Cambodia, Loving My Children, and Fighting For Human Rights in Vienna, Austria

I was born in France and live in Austria since 1992. I studied Computer sciences and got an engineering diploma. I practiced my knowledge for 20 years. I am happily married to Wolfgang and meanwhile, mother of five adopted children, The adoption of my son Igor took almost a year and I spent much time in the orphanage supporting voluntarily the day work of the nurses. After this very emotional experience, I decided to help children in need.

The religion of our family is respect, love, and share… We all come from different cultures (France, Austria, Russia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Afganistan) and religions. We respect each of us, we love us and are together very happy. It is so easy to live together.

In 2006, I founded together with dedicated people and friends my charity “kleine herzen” (little hearts) with the mission to support orphans and poor families from Russia and Ukraine. (www.kleineherzen.ngo, http://www.littlehearts.ngo)

Who am I? A simple woman who experiences every day that giving is the key to happiness. I dedicate my life in helping forgotten children in Russia and Ukraine. The bright eyes of a child in an orphanage, encouraged by a smile or surprised with a small gift from someone to show they cared, opened a new world to me. I started to see not only with my eyes but with my heart.

Giving is opening one’s heart to the poorest of the poor: to children, children that are forgotten from our society, children who grow without the love of a family, in state institutions. To take care of a child in need means not only to merely give some money to relieve one’s own conscience. It is giving to a needy little heart in a hopeless situation, love, security, and hope in his life. It is the beginning of a deep feeling of human warmth, it is a little more balance in a less and less balanced world.

Mother Teresa said “Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty” I experience it each time I am in Ukraine and Russia.”

WordPress Origin Story

I use WordPress for my non-profit organization’s website since 2014 and I am very happy. This was the recommendation of a very good friend. Today I am a WordPress expert and love to discover new functionalities, new plugins new development possibilities. If I would have enough time I would help people to make their own website on WordPress for free But my life’s goal is to save children’s lives … :))))))
