Bio

Kayelle Allen writes romance, sci-fi, and space opera with misbehaving robots, mythic heroes, role playing immortal gamers, and warriors who purr. She is a US Navy veteran and has been married so long she’s tenured. Does she write happy ever afters? Some stories require endings that offer happy-for-now, or hopeful-for-the-future. But all Kayelle Allen books provide an ending that satisfies, and never leave you dangling over a cliff.

WordPress Origin Story

I’m a Scifi author and have more than a dozen books out. My 100+ page website had been created in 2004 and updated frequently, but by 2010, most of my traffic was from mobile devices. The site was not mobile friendly. I had to make a change. After researching the best types of content management systems, I decided to go with WordPress. I’m sure this story is a repeat of what has been said by others, but for me, it was a radical step. I took down my huge website and started fresh with a small site containing only a few pages. I’m now working my way back to the experience I wanted for my readers. I’ve since moved and/or created nine different sites on WordPress. I’m a believer.
