An old school programmer that turned into a manager and then turned into an entrepreneur. Now, I have some time to learn new things. Still curious.

    WordPress Origin Story

I know WordPress for many years since we have used in mostly for our corporate web sites.
Two years ago, when my wife, upon her retirement, decided to start a D2C specialty coffee e-commerce business, I offered her to use Woocommerce. It all started good but we always had problems finding good talent skillful in WC and at the same time having expertise in ecommerce. So, I decided to learn WordPress development myself and help her customizing her e-shop. I liked the open source approach, open-web devotion of the community. And I started a completely free online Woocommerce development school to train young people on WP & WC. I also try to build integrated ecommerce product in and around Woocommerce.
