Bio

I’m a multidisciplinary designer passionate about creating visually stunning and user-friendly digital experiences. Specializing in UX, Graphic and Web Design, I combine my creative expertise with basic front-end knowledge to build custom WordPress websites and craft compelling brand identities for businesses of all sizes. From logo animation to animated explainer videos, I also love bringing ideas to life through motion graphics.

When I’m not designing, I share my knowledge on YouTube, helping fellow designers grow their technical and soft skills to thrive in the industry. I’m a lifelong learner, always exploring new technologies and better ways to streamline processes.

When I’m not working, you can find me curled up watching a good movie, series, or documentary, lost in music, or diving into random research topics. And if Afrobeats is playing, I’ll probably be dancing; it’s one of my favourite ways to relax.

WordPress Origin Story

The first time I looked at the WordPress interface, I was completely lost. How was it even possible to build a website from the backend? In my mind, web design and development were all about writing code, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP. You had to master these languages to create functional websites. But here was WordPress, with its dashboard and settings, and I just couldn’t wrap my head around it.

Back then, WordPress was mostly known as a blogging tool. That’s what we were told, and that’s what I believed. So, when I saw people using it to create full-fledged websites—beautiful, professional, and fully functional, I was skeptical. It didn’t make sense to me. How could something designed for blogging power entire e-commerce stores or business websites?

But curiosity got the better of me. As I started exploring WordPress and learning about themes and plugins, everything changed. Seeing the kind of websites people were building without writing a single line of code was mind-blowing. That was about six or seven years ago, and from that moment, I was hooked.

Today, WordPress remains my main tool for web design. It’s powerful, flexible, and when combined with design expertise, can produce results that feel anything but “templated.” Looking back, it’s funny to think how skeptical I was at first. What seemed impossible then is now second nature to me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
