WordPress Origin Story

I poked my first WordPress.com site in Feb. 2007… right along with so many other things when I started working freelance. I didn’t quite know what I wanted to do, other than making money online that is. I quickly felt in love with WP and found out that there was an open source version of it. Before I knew it, I was learning about servers, installing WP and editing its coding. I was head over heels by the time I decided to go back to school for web design. Lots of ups and downs but WordPress has indeed been there for me!
