WordPress Origin Story

First I tried to create a blog and a few sites with Drupal. A few years ago you could create almost the exactly same site and theme with either Drupal or WordPress. Not anymore, today I only recommend WordPress. I won’t get into the details. You can try Drupal yourself, but 70% of the modules for drupal are abandoned and there are major differences between the two platforms which makes WordPress the goto for both blogs and websites. Drupal is also a major resource hog, I never had a shared hosting memory problem with WP. WordPress which is actually designed for blogs has also won the CMS war!
