Bio

After many years in the workforce, I retired in 2002. I spent 3 years plus living and working overseas in the 70’s, not to mention that I spent around 12 months of that time travelling across many countries. My first major journey was via coach for about 4 months from Kathmandu to London, the second was around Britain on a motorbike for 10 weeks and my final big trip was all through South America in a truck for 17 weeks.

I am passionate about photography and spent three years at Photography Studies College before graduating with a Diploma in Illustrative Photography. I have 900 or so 35mm slides from my trips that still need to be digitised. Also, three handwritten journals need to be dictated onto my MacBook before I can use the content. I plan to make a variety of e-books from this material.

Photography, writing, motorcycling (except I don’t have a bike now).
