Bio

I’ve devoted most of my life to making beautiful and useful things on the web. I love making products better. I’ve always believed, “software shouldn’t just work, but be a joy to use”. Challenges are what make life exciting and I love working with talented individuals coming up with creative solutions to complex and technical problems.

For 9 years, I led a software consulting company that “focused on the hard things”. Most of my time was devoted to understanding what people need and bridging the gap between product designers and engineering. Through AMBR Detroit, I also led the company’s enterprise sales, generating millions in revenue. AMBR was acquired in late 2020.

Prior to AMBR Detroit, I was instrumental in creating the Domino’s e-commerce experience, one of the country’s leading e-commerce sites. Since then I’ve done software architecture and product design consulting for other e-commerce platforms for organizations such as StockX, the University of Michigan, Emagine Entertainment, and Pizza Hut.

I’ve spoken at numerous events across the country on topics ranging from development to SEO to product creation to entrepreneurship. I’ve enjoyed sharing what I’ve learned as a technology and startup mentor for other companies through Bizdom, Grand Circus, and Windsor Essex Small Business Centre in Canada.

I’ve hosted numerous events, including lead organizer for WordCamp Detroit for 3 years, a community-focused conference on WordPress.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Kettering University.
