Bio

I am a retired international lawyer, researcher, author, online coach, and lecturer. After finalizing studies in German Law, International Law and European integration with diplomas obtained in 1981 through 1983, I graduated in December 1987 at the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva as ‘Docteur en Droit’ in international law.

The doctorate was funded by scholarships from the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, Lausanne, and from the University of Geneva, as well as a Fulbright Travel Grant for an assistantship with Professor Louis B. Sohn at UGA Law School Department of International Law, Athens, Georgia, USA, in 1985. I also served as a research assistant to Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer, Cologne, Germany in 1983 and to Lalive Lawyers, Geneva, in 1987.

I write, narrate, and lecture in English, German and French languages. I have written more than ten thousand pages embracing all literary genres, including novels, short stories, film scripts, essays, selfhelp books, monographs and extended book reviews. Also a pianist and composer, I have realized 40 collections with jazz, newage and relaxation music.

My professional publications span the domains International Law, Criminal Law, Holistic Science, Psychology, Education, Shamanism, Ecology, Spirituality, Quantum Physics, Systems Theory, Natural Healing, Peace Research, Personal Growth, Selfhelp and Consciousness Research.

110 Book Reviews and more than one hundred fifty video lectures were realized in the years 2005-2010. In recent years I have produced 46 audiobooks for Audible, and from 2010 to now eighty paperbacks and Kindle books with Amazon Publishing. I am the author and editor of Great Minds Series, Scholarly Articles Series, Essays on Law, Policy and Psychiatry, Heretics Guides, Training & Consulting, as well as, published under my pen Pierre F. Walter, The Idiot Guide Series, and Monograph Series (2010

I publish via my Delaware firm Sirius-C Media Galaxy LLC (since October, 1998).

WordPress Origin Story

I was very fond of Microsoft® Frontpage® and created many sites with it. When it was no more available, I had anyway switched to a Mac and was looking for an alternative. I did not find anything that satisfied me, that is both professional-looking and easy-to-use.

Until I found WordPress, and was immediately fascinated, while also occasionally angered at the many bugs WordPress suffered from in the earlier years. But I was then building awareness, more and more awareness at their incredible ability to fix all of them, really all of them as by about a year ago. Now I would dare to say WordPress is flawless and it is … yes … easy-to-use … and … looks professional. I am forever with WordPress, at least as long as I am working online and build sites.
